Artists with A Unique Vision

Hans Demoed and Geert de Rooij are the two artists behind The People Of The Labyrinths’ concept,
founded in 1984. Celebrated for its rare, new vision of creating high-end fashion and accessories
with hand-dyed f abrics, our brand soon intrigued the industry. The colorful, handcrafted designs can’t
be compared to anything else in the fashion world.
Our founders followed their outsider instincts to create vibrant and kaleidoscopic prints that are
one-of-a-kind. The intricate patterns are unusual, the color combinations stunning and spirited. Geert
and Hans design unique collections of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories and offer
interior design services. When The People Of The Labyrinths was founded, our fashion designers
couldn’t find fabrics in prints or colors that suited them, so they chose to design everything
themselves, another unique concept in fashion.

The Perfume And Eau de Toilette Collection

We want our clients to immerse themselves in a total experience. This includes unique clothing and
accessories that can be mixed and matched with exquisite Eau de Toilette and perfume.
The Eau de Toilette and perfume by The People Of The Labyrinths is our contemporary creation.
The basis for the fragrances comes from f in-de-siècle perfumes of the 19th-century. The first
perfumes created were airy and fresh. Our designers went to work on creating perfumes worthy of
being avant-garde.
We were proud to launch our first perfume, ‘ Luctor et Emergo ’ in 1997. The fragrance is evocative of
the 1990s and is masculine and feminine. The scent is meditative, natural, and sensual and is
created from natural ingredients including different woods, white flowers, and vanilla.
Then we experimented for f ive years to create a new lighter fragrance with henna and saffron in our
newest perfume, “A .MAZE” . The natural components include orange Blossom, taif Rose from Saudi
Arabia, and wardia rose. The precious woods in this delicate perfume include agarwood from
Cambodia, civet, musk, and sandalwood.

Our brand is also renowned for the sophisticated and multi-faceted collection of interior design
products. The designs from each of their collections features:
