Our two co-founders, Hans Demoed and Geert de Rooij, established the brand in 1984. The duo
was among the first to implement the hand painting and dyeing of clothes. With Hans as an expert in
hand painted color palettes and Geert being skilled in graphic screen printing.
The years of combined experience and creative expression built the fashion brand The People of
The Labyrinths is today. Moving away From fast fashion to become a brand of quality and
individuality.

All our craftsmanship goes into designing and manufacturing on a small scale. This is how our
designers ensure that every piece is not only unique but also of the best quality possible. We source
durable and high quality material which allows us to produce long lasting pieces of clothing to add to
your wardrobe.
This approach allowed our garments to be picked up by the fashion industry on an international level
shortly after our humble beginnings. We were honored to provide high end clothing pieces for
celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor, Cher, and Elton John just to name a few. And our clothes have even
been featured in a music video by Aerosmith worn by the lead singer, Steven Tyler.

The focus on quality does not stop at clothing.

The founders also offer interior design advice for their clients. The two have extensive experience in the field of interior design and have completed interior
design projects for many clients’ homes, businesses, and even their yachts. Travelling far from their
home base in the Netherlands to remodel the properties of the most influential people in fashion and
business.

leather comes in fabulous colors. Onto this we add screen prints, carefully selected and applied by
hand. All so that you can make an impression with a splash of color and print.
